Studio5 welcomes back the Joe Policastro Trio for a multimedia presentation of music from their recent release "Screen Sounds." The third album by the band features the singular approach of the Chicago-based ensemble on a unique assemblage of music from movies and TV. For this performance, the trio is presenting the music in a mutlimedia format with an experimental film and original lighting design.

"Screen Sounds" is both a musical tapestry and personal soundtrack featuring muisc from the silver screen to the small screen (The Godfather, The Young and The Restless, Cool Hand Luke, Taxi, Midnight Cowboy, The Kids In The Hall, etc.). The trio has re-purposed these selections blending each member's unique voice into a unified sound while shedding new light on these musical touchstones....
